01 / Problem

Candidates preparing for a civil-service exam with psychometric tests usually practise with fixed question sets: they repeat what they already know, do not know which skill they are failing and have no way of measuring progress. Academies solve part of the problem, but at a price and on a timetable that do not suit everyone.

02 / Solution

How we solved it

PsicoSprint draws a clear line between what the AI does and what it does not. The question bank was drafted with help from a model, offline, and reviewed before publication. The engine that picks the next question is deterministic: it estimates mastery of each skill, raises or lowers difficulty based on the streak and schedules spaced reviews. In real time, the AI only rewords explanations, with caching, validation and a model-free fallback if it fails.

An adaptive engine that can be explained

No unconstrained randomness and no language model in the decision. Selection uses a seeded generator and every session stores its version.

Traceable content

Every question states that it was drafted with AI assistance and where it came from. Published versions cannot be modified: a change creates a new version.

What it solves

In fifteen minutes candidates know where they stand, skill by skill, and get a plan that focuses on their weak points. Each session stores the seed and the versions of the engine and scoring, so any result can be reproduced and explained. Paid access is a one-off payment with no automatic renewal.

Security and confidentiality

  • Row-level security on every table: correct answers are never readable from the client.
  • Authorisation is resolved on the server; admin access requires a database role and an authorised email.
  • Analytics only with consent, account export and deletion, and retention periods set by data type.

Are the questions generated by an AI on the spot?

No. The bank was drafted with AI assistance before launch, reviewed and published in versions that do not change. What happens in real time is decided by a deterministic engine.

Does it work for the Guardia Civil and the Army?

The skills are shared and can be trained today. Content specific to each force is being prepared; the platform flags this in each case.
